Be-Tech r2 selected for ADI Design Index 2025

The r2 smart lock, designed by SECCI Concept Design for Be-Tech Asia, has been officially selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory for publication in the ADI Design Index 2025.

The ADI Design Index is the annual selection showcasing the best of Italian design and the first step toward the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2026.
r2 stands out for its refined aesthetics and human-centered functionality, integrating facial recognition, fingerprint access, and a distinctive r-shaped handle that improves ergonomics and safety.

The selection confirms the international value of the project and the collaboration between Be-Tech Asia and SECCI Concept Design, bridging Asian innovation and Italian design culture.

The official presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, followed by the opening of the exhibition, open to the public until October 30.
The exhibition will then continue in Agrigento from November 11 to 28, within the program for Italian Capital of Culture 2025.

In the same week, r2 will also be on display at the Be-Tech booth during the Canton Fair in Guangzhou (October 15–19) — a perfect overlap that highlights its international visibility.
