Be-Tech r2 wins iF Design Award 2026

Be-Tech r2 has been awarded the iF Design Award 2026, marking the latest international recognition for this smart lock project.

Designed by SECCI Concept Design, r2 focuses on clarity of interaction, ergonomics, and a calm, architectural presence, combining a coherent CMF strategy with a manufacturable product architecture. From concept to production, the development balanced user experience, engineering feasibility, and production constraints, to ensure the final object stays consistent from early intent to real deployment.

Before this iF recognition, Be-Tech r2 was selected for the ADI Design Index 2025, and it also received the Premio Eccellenze del Design nel Lazio 2025, an acknowledgment reserved for projects selected within the ADI Design Index.

We thank Be-Tech and everyone involved in bringing r2 to market, and we are proud to see this project confirmed across both international and Italian design platforms.
