Wartmann

Designed for dual-sided interaction

Overview
This stand mixer was designed from scratch for Assiduous and later commercialized by Wartmann. The project aimed to create a distinctive, highly functional appliance that would stand out in a competitive market segment.

DESIGN APPROACH

We focused on clarity, symmetry, and a clean product architecture that integrates the central control element. The ring knob not only adds formal identity but also redefines interaction, turning a common gesture into a distinctive user experience.

    Concept

The defining feature is the ring-shaped control knob, a unique element that allows the user to operate the mixer from both sides. This solution enhances accessibility and flexibility, especially in busy kitchen environments or shared workspaces.

    DIFFFERENTIATION:

Firtly presented at the Canton Fair, the product immediately attracted attention for its intuitive design and visual appeal. Now a key item in Wartmann’s lineup at the Ambiente Fair (2025), it proves how thoughtful design can add value through originality and functional simplicity.
